Materials:

50 grams worsted weight yarn
Size 7 24” circular needle

Finished scarf size:

approximately 4.75″ x 28″

Instructions:

Loosely cast on 106 stitches and join, being careful not to twist.  Place marker and purl 3 rounds.   Work rounds 1 and 2 of the lace pattern until piece measures approximately 4.5” from beginning.  Purl 2 rounds and loosely cast off purlwise.  I used Jeny’s Surprising Stretchy cast-off.

Lace Pattern:

Round 1:  *yo, K2tog.  *Repeat across.
Round 2:  *yo, SSK.  *Repeat across.

Weave in all ends and block.
